Ms. Schiffer is a Certified Site Surveillance Technician and Lead Related Construction Sampling Technician with over 5 years of experience in environmental consulting. She manages the Los Angeles branch of FACS, home to 18 operations employees.

Rebecca oversees the wildfire, fire, and smoke service line and provides training and support throughout the Southern California area and Colorado. Her experience includes field work and project management for mold and moisture, asbestos, and lead-containing materials, as well as indoor air quality assessments. She also performs asbestos abatement oversight monitoring and clearances for mold remediation projects and prepares written field reports for industrial hygiene, asbestos, and microbial projects. Ms. Schiffer has also managed and performed exposure monitoring and qualitative fit testing for various healthcare facilities throughout Southern California. Her experience in the field also includes soil sampling, Legionella/water quality assessments, particulate monitoring, noise exposure assessments, ventilation surveys, and VOC sampling. She also assists with litigated mold projects, including document review and sampling. Projects have taken place in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, laboratories, industrial facilities, and residences.
