Professional Experience
Jim is the National Director of Business Development for Forensic Analytical Consulting Services, Inc. (FACS). He leads the development and execution of FACS’s enterprise business development strategy, working closely with senior leadership, Marketing, Operations, Local and Regional Directors, and technical leaders to support sustainable and profitable growth.
In his role, Jim is responsible for strengthening FACS’s business development organization and creating a more consistent approach to client engagement, strategic account development, market expansion, and opportunity management. His work includes developing enterprise, sector, practice, and office-level go-to-market strategies; advancing key account management; improving pipeline and CRM discipline; recruiting and developing business development talent; and aligning commercial priorities with FACS’s technical capabilities and operational readiness.
Jim brings more than 35 years of sales, business development, and commercial leadership experience. Much of his career has been concentrated in the municipal and industrial water, wastewater, environmental services, solid waste, waste-to-energy, and industrial solutions markets. His experience includes building national and regional sales organizations, commercializing technically complex services and treatment platforms, developing strategic partnerships, and leading growth initiatives involving PFAS remediation, environmental and sustainability solutions, capital projects, and long-term service agreements.
Before joining FACS, Jim held senior business development and sales leadership positions with Heartland, Synagro, Ecolab, and Univar. Jim’s approach to business development is grounded in trust, disciplined client engagement, and close coordination between commercial and technical teams. He focuses on understanding each client’s business priorities, connecting them with the right FACS expertise, and creating relationships in which FACS becomes a valued and dependable long-term partner.
