Professional Experience
Ms. Anderson is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Fire Investigator with several decades of experience spanning industrial hygiene, safety, environmental, and sustainability services. Her global career across private industry and consulting has equipped her with a deep understanding of how cultural dynamics influence the development, implementation, and management of effective EHSS systems. She is skilled in designing programs that reduce risk, strengthen compliance, and align with both regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
Her international EHSS experience includes supporting engineers, scientists, maintenance teams, operations personnel, and leadership across a wide range of industries including Oil and Gas, Chemical Manufacturing, Heavy Industry, Distribution and Pharmaceuticals. She collaborates with clients to design and implement practical, field‑ready EHSS Management Systems that prevent injuries and illnesses while protecting the environment and surrounding communities. Her project work includes greenfield and brownfield construction, catastrophic incident response, fatality investigations, OSHA compliance audits, EPA RMP and OSHA PSM audits, Dust Hazard Analyses (DHAs), global ISO‑aligned management systems, and comprehensive industrial hygiene programs.
Ms. Anderson has developed and conducted complex industrial hygiene exposure assessments to evaluate chemical, physical, and biological hazards in a variety of research, industrial and manufacturing settings. She has developed EHSS Management Systems and related training materials for streamlined implementation. Ms. Anderson has also been a part of facilitating culture change implementation within several plant sites as an imbedded member of the team providing coaching and direction for all levels of management and operations personnel.
She is a nationally recognized expert in the EPA TSCA Lautenberg Act regulations and provides technical guidance, training, and field‑level compliance support. Her work helps organizations navigate complex chemical‑specific regulatory requirements across industrial and educational sectors.
Ms. Anderson has been actively involved in professional associations throughout her career, providing leadership on local and regional levels. Ms. Anderson is an active member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (National and Gulf Coast Chapter), American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists and the American Society for Safety Professionals.
